Item # Miscanthus Sinesis Gracillimus

Maiden grass has narrow green leaves which form a rounded arching clump about 4 feet tall. Small red copper flowers appear on tassels in September and then turn into white plumes. The plumes persist into the winter providing winter interest. Maiden grass attracts birds, is drought tolerant, is deer resistant, and can be planted near Black Walnuts. The grass is best planted in border, meadows or naturalized areas.
